A NEW YOU
Touch the sky,
Take a flight so high,
Look out for new,
Don’t resist to deny!
Happiness isn’t connected,
It’s free,
It’s in the leaves of the tree,
Fragrance of the flowers,
Touch of the tides,
In the sparkle of the moonlight,
Sing a new tune,
Forget that never was yours,
Forget as it hurts to remember,
Forget as I know it kills you within,
Whatever has been, has been,
Give yourself a new canvas,
Paint a new you,
Whoever agrees take them along,
Try and sing a new song,
It won’t be tough,
It would just be new,
Rush out of that door and
Touch that sparkling fresh dew,
Take its essence, know its meaning,
Mend that broken wing,
Get ready for another flight,
Love your own light,
Shine within!
Remember your new lesson,
Just follow the flow,
There will be no halts,
Be sure…your spirit
Have no faults!

THE CREATIVE REBELS
" A film maker is not what a society requires. It is the more of doctors and architects we require today. The contribution of Film Makers and Media Personalites is none compared to the people in other fields who contribute in real terms to the society."-one of my admired teachers.
The name is of one of the teachers in my college, not mentioned because I respect him, deeply.
One guy whom I admired for his professional instinct and his substance in work, made me fall levels down with those words! "WHAT?! WHY!? IS HE MAD?! "were just the beginning of my reactions.Well, if thats the case, why do we have media then? We, the media, are always seen at looking into people's lives and making a hullabaloo over every other thing thats on the planet. Well, dude! had that been the case, the world would not have ever come to stand to calling it a developed society. A Communication death would have eventually resulted into wars and misinterpretation of the messages that people brag about! So fools Wake up!And ya, why only these dirt - smirken engineers and doctors are paid more than us media people?Bull - shit! For the silly excuse that they had mugged up books in the growing ages and mugged up even the sums which had to come in the exam. Does that make them great enough? And ya, what new contributions do you people make? Spend Half your life getting drained down into books , mugging up all the formulas and theories that had been given by other famous men. They are excused! thorougly as they found something NEW! something more UNCONVENTIONAL! SPENT THEIR ENTIRE LIFE INTO DISCOVERING SOMETHING NEW! CREATIVE! HATS OFF! but U! What have you done yaar? Every mechanic on this earth can do it yaar! common! its just a minute difference in knowledge! We have all been through their exhibitions! Frankly! Their CREATIVE BRAINS are dead! SIN COS THETA AND BETA are not the end of life people! Get over with your mentality! On the other hand, we, the media contribute so much to the society.Ok, all you people may not agree with me coz this requires a fresh perspective to think from!A good film is worth a thousand thoughts! It turns your head into the direction what it intends to, isnt it a persuader?! Think it!We, the Ad Industry, make what you want to be!We make brands and drag you, insist you on buying stuff which you would have never bought even if your mom told you not to!Look at the journalists' end, Besides the informations, we make you sit through hours of discussion that you people do in your free time--the old ones, especially! We make you talk on stuff which you would never talk about!MY ONLY REQUEST TO THE FOOLS WHO STILL DON'T DARE TO AGREE, PLEASE LOOK BEYOND AND TAKE PRIDE IN WHO YOU ARE!ATLEAST OF YOUR WORK!

Why Security Council Is a Distant Dream
Article Review by: anshuman sharma
Author : Sashi Tharoor Published: May 12, 2008
Sashi Tharoor in his most recent contribution to India's thought process writes about the hassles in front of the nation's aspiration to acquire a permanent seat at the Security Council. When you read the article, at age 20, there certainly is a level of frustration that follows.
Ads by GoogleThere are grave issues in the country that need immediate action. India shining and economic boom are words most frequent in contemporary newspapers and columns. Tatas buy Corus and Citibank is headed by an Indian are just a few mentions. The common man is striving for survival, and half of the population is still to understand the concept of bread. This sounds Leftist and Anti-Establishment, doesn’t it? This is not the issue. It can’t be, since I as a student in the capital have my own worries. The cost of milk is Rs. 24 for a litre, that of a kilogram of pulses is Rs. 60, a 200ml shampoo comes for Rs. 130 and toothpaste for Rs. 45. normally a student has anywhere from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000 for his pocket. So apparently it becomes a little difficult. More significantly, the social structure is a little too self obsessed. Every female is on the mercy of the straying male. She is perennially gazed with a subliminal thought; ‘what is she doing out of her house’? There exists no age group from zero to eighty which has not been raped at least once.Well, given the fact that we are the biggest democracy and the fifth largest economy, this state may act as a deterrent. There is nothing else really that we lag behind at. Corruption exists everywhere. So what if we are a little more corrupt in mentality and Indians are dishonest is a joke? Poverty is not an issue here since economic boom is taking caring of that.Infrastructure doesn’t count since we will soon host a Formula One race built on farmlands and I will support Raikkonen. I know for sure that a few farmers will commit suicide in excitement. Formula One is all about excitement. There are only two categories of citizens, poor and snobbish. How does it matter as long as we are in international news?Urban citizens have all of a sudden become wine connoisseurs. Because they can afford it. They all work in big companies and so do their peers. 50% of the seats in educational institutions are reserved. But we can always emigrate, or if we can’t afford to, there always are coaching classes. Only 1200 students per batch. Education for all. The greatest thing is that you don’t need a house to sleep in. a flyover will always provide you the space underneath. You only have to watch out the racing Mercedes that may occasionally go over you. The license will always be found fake or paid-for, be the chauffer or the owner. So I think there are no possibilities that can keep us away from acquiring a permanent seat in the SC but the neighbouring states of Pakistan, China or Indonesia. As Mr. Tharoor points out.

MY SUSHINE
The flowers still bloom in the spring...
The sun still shines...
and glows like never before.
It spreads across the rays, tranced.
It heals the essence of every being.
But my soul still lies in dark.
I cry my heart out in the light.
I crib, i ponder, i weep.
Dont want to believe in what i’m seeing.
And here i wait again,
here i wish to see...
My flowers to bloom once again,
My sunshine to glisten on me....

Confessions of a Sinner!!!
Well, when I was a child my mother once told me to be honest with elders...So as we all know that this is Patra Sir's blog I want to be completely honest with him...actually these are confessions of a sinner...
Sir, I posted this blog entry just a few minutes of our practical exam, when I realised that my ass could be on fire. This was done in noble intentions when I realised that I could show you some work done...I dont want to justify my actions its just that I have seen and learnt this all through my life...
Our government wakes up on terrorism when half the country has been rocked by bomb blasts.
Our PM talks about the internal elements, when half the country's youth has become involved with terror outfits, dirty politics and authoritative religious organisations.
The Sports Authority of India wakes up when Indian Hockey Team doesn't qualify for the World Cup for the first time.
The President of the Country wakes up when suddenly some indivisual sportsmen got her some medals for the first time.
So you see, its not exactly my fault...
I have always studied one day before the exam.
I always wake up when I see my dad entering the room to kick our asses.
I always reach college when the first class has already started.
And I always give good assignments when I know that the External is waiting for me in the other room, ready to rip my creative into pieces.
but I want to change all this now. I want to change myself now.
SIR I PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL SUBMIT MY ASSIGNMENTS NEXT YEAR ON TIME.
Thank you.

sahils post!
Aiee..
This being the first of MY entry is obviously very special! not just for me but also for all those who are going to read and most importantly learn!
The insight which will be provided through my posts are going to be ground breaking and break all barriers in the field of the written word!
I look forward to keep posting (something worth reading next time!) and I hope I manage to find some readers.
You know you love me...
